Product Overview

IntuScan^TM is an integrated multi-engine decision-support technology for real-time exploitation of Arabic language documents.  It integrates the intuition and knowledge of seasoned intelligence experts into an automated process.

IntuScan^TM generates an intelligence summary of each document as a single entity or within a batch of documents. IntuScan^TM does not translate the documents,

 How it Works:

IntuScan^TM consists of four main engines:  a Natural Language Processing Engine, a Statistical Scoring Engine, a Rule-Base Engine and a Report Engine. 

Documents are then fed into IntuScan^TM via any regular digital format (pdf, web pages, word, emails, txt, etc) or as a scanned and OCR processed image of a printed document.   

Then, within seconds per document, IntuScan^TM produces an English summary or gist of each document.  This summary includes characterization and prioritization of each document; identification of the affiliation of the document to an author, organization,  ideological or religious stream, abstracts of the statements of the document on relevant threat-related issues,  analyses of the significance of religious terms with terrorist ramifications in the document, identification of persons, organizations and groups which appear in the document; identification of phone numbers, addresses, URLs and place references; and any information implicit in the document and deduced from explicit concepts. 

IntuScan^TM produces a spreadsheet with modifiable columns of each document broken down by threat rate.  It also produces a pie chart of all documents characterized in that batch for an overall sense of the theme of that batch.  For example, a batch of documents from one computer can be characterized in a few seconds per document and could tell the user that 90% of the documents on this computer are high threat.  This is an incredible tool for triage of documents.

 Each of these summaries can be databased and cross-referenced based on each user’s requirements. 

 IntuScan^TM grapples with one of the most difficult problems facing intelligence and operations professionals today.  It will give you the ability to triage and characterize massive amounts of potential valuable information in a fraction of the time it used to take for linguists to read and characterize each document.  It gives each analyst and professional conducting this type of work an invaluable tool to be more effective.
